Our Time 1998
and then there's... SP]R]T week T he week before Homecoming, students had a lot of fun show ing their school spirit during Spirit Week. With Twin Day, Class T Shirt Day, and a variety of other interesting optional dress-up days, people let loose and showed their creative sides. The classes were allowed to compete also with the Homecoming skits. Though the senior class won (as always), both the sopho more and the junior classes did a good job. In fact, when the scores were first tallied for each skit, the junior skit was thought to have won. However, one judge (a math teacher, no less) made an arithmetic mistake which made it seem like the juniors had won, but the seniors won, after all. Underclassmen did not lose hope though and contin ued the week with heads held high. The seniors once again won during the pep rally but everyone admitted that the sophomores and juniors put forth a gallant effort. This year, SADD sponsored as it does every year a bonfire. Many people attended the forever popular event to hang with friends in front of the warm, blazing fire. Though Spirit Week was techni cally over, students continued to express their spirit by attending the Homecoming soccer game the Satur day at the end of the week. Overall, the week was a great success and enjoyed heartily by all. Top: Lynn Paik s stunning outfit getsjunior class riled up during the Pep Rally.
