These activities required constant labor and permit– ted no breaks, for publica– tions documented school events as they occurred. And time waits for no one. The overworked staff of the Gallimaufry. IMSA's illustrious yearbook, could attest to that. But, the result of their tireless I efforts to produce a suitable summary of this mulit- faceteed year, is none other than the impressive creation you now hold in your hands. But the Gallimaufry staff were not the only individuals that could be found working around the clock in the Pub Room. The diligent writers of the school newspaper, the ACRONYM, also shared those modest facilities. Nooreen Dabbish com– mented, "Being the editor- in-chief of a newspaper is great, but owning a key to the pub room is even better." In addition, such publications as Heliotrope, the literary magazine, provided an outlet for students to express them– selves creatively.
