W ho better to whip a twelve pound ball down a well worn lane of wood and smack dab into the eye of a white hurricane composed of t en bowling pins in a isosceles triangle than the IMSA La– dies' Bowling Team? No one else, that's who. Made up of exceptional females with strong arms, agile toes, and wrists of steel, the Bowling Team didn't accept anything less than perfection ... followed by a nice meal off cam– pus. "Dr. Chott often took us out to dinner after the games. We even had a picnic lunch during the middle of our sectionals," said Junior Tina Pratl. But, don't think all these girls wanted out of life was a cheeseburger and some fries. Oh no. They wanted respect, and they got it from one of the more unlikely sources: IMSA's Humani– ties department. Dr. Regalis, Dr. Kiely, and Dr. Ellipsis (or Nick Eliopoulos) often made frequent appearances to watch these girls knock down those pesky pins with all of the spunk that they could muster. %4 k ^ * . ^^^^^v^| jg*j "^ •- f • "•" H \ I - t i h t .j Girls' Bowling First Row: Grace Yang, Clare Myers, Tina Pratl, Mirjana Jankov, Margaret O'Leary Second Row: Jessica McAlear, Sara Evans, Katherine Flansburg, Deneen Zarada, Donielle Newell, Marti Shirley Third Row: Kelly Baluta, ChristinaWashington, Larry Chott, Denise Lorenz, Candi Reincke Above Left: Sara Evans diligently corrects a scoring error on the scoreboard.
