H o l e i n O n e C o-ed Titan golf virtually ove r f l owed wi th talent during their s i x -week fall season. Up to seven or eight play– ers compe t ed at the varsity level each ma t ch, and even their h i ghest scores we re enough to c omp e te wi th others. This y e a r 's t e am tied the r eco rd for the mo st amount of wi ns per season, 10-9. Even against their t ough schedule, the golfers still strived to win every ma t ch. The ir success wa s due mu ch in pa rt to the ded i ca t ed encou r agement and gu i dance of Co - cap t a i ns Lo r en Jones and JR Swanson. Coached by Joe Prieto, the Golf Team provided a suitable environ– ment for players to rise to the top. For example, Sophomore Jill Starzyk honed her skills to qualify for State, where she finished in the top half of all female players. Despite the labor Titan golfers put into their sport, they still maintained their priorities. "Everybody enjoyed themselves," added Joe Prieto.
