From the moment we arrived as s ophomo r es to a we ek of mi nd– less n ame game s, to the late-night r oomma te bond i ng that occu r ed in stages of ha l f - awake i ncohe r ence, bond i ng was a vital part of the IMSA expe r i ence. Pe r haps the most p r ac t i ced t ype was wi ng bond i ng. Th r oughout the year, CDs and RCs wo r ked hard to b r i ng their wi ngs closer together. As n ew wi ng commun i t i es formed, students resorted to a variety of different forms of bond i ng in order to ac– quaint t hems e l ves wi th the other memb e rs of their wi ng. Students invented all sorts of creative ideas to spice up wi ng activities. "Bond i ng wi th my wi ng gives me an opportu– nity to get to know the people in my wi ng better," stated Sophomo re Edua r do Pina. Others agree: "Wi ng bond i ng a l l ows me to form healthy relationships with wi ng memb e r s ," said Junior Erikka Conr ad. In addition, wi ng bond i ng gave people a chance to actually sit down and have meaningful conversation in a p l ace that usua l ly allows no time for pu re commun i ca t i on.
