A H l c w l D c c k o 1 d a r c i s 506 is in a predica– ment that may be unprecedented. But that isn't a bad thing be– cause 1506 has "4 new RC ' s and they are 4 of the best!" just like first year RC Dawnn Grimes of B-wing exclaimed. Not only are they great, but they learn fast! "One of A Ki nd" A- wing has a new RC Christy Day. This is a wing that sips and falls and wears gloves on a wa rm day... A- wingers have gone ice skating each month with Christy to build community spirit. "Life's A Beach ! " B- wi ng 's RC Dawnn Gr ime s' activities to build wing spirit include reading Chicken Soup for the Soul after check every Sunday night for a month to little treats on Wednesdays to make the wi ng meetings sweeter. Senior Kimberly Whitlock commented how "wing activities made the wing closer." "C is for Cookie, and That's Good Enough for Me !" C-wing with the newest addition, RC Jen Snyder showed signs of bonding with their new RC. Walk into C-wing and wingmates could be seen playing video games to watching movies to cook– ing together. There was a sense of community with lots of personality as one wing member commented, "Life's certainly a cookie!" D-wing with RC Angi King have been known the year as Da Train. To build the community atmosphere and also to bond as a wing, D-wingers, early in the year, had an indoor pudding fight with their brother wing. This activity, as most agree was the highlight of the year, destroyed all the furniture and carpet the wing. After that, they decide to spend the rest of the year practicing eti– quette!
