St uden ts we re attracted to this hall not only for its location, but for the exciting collection of pe r sona l i t i es it con t a i ned. The Intelligent Que ens of Aq i l a Ad ama s , 03 A-Wi ng , never ceased their activities. Encou r– aged by RC Mi che le Conve r s e, t hey utilized their imp r e s s i ve culinary talents to ma ke pizza, and phys i ca l ly cha l l enged t hems e l ves by participat– ing in adven t u r es like hiking. 03 -A memb e rs also expr es sed t hems e l ves artistically, literally br i gh t en i ng their wi ng dur i ng the ho l i days with mi l es of lights, and creat– ing their own Christmas o r namen t s. And of course, they could never abandon their favorite pa s t - t ime. "Our wi ng is ma de of Ni n t endo freaks," re– ma r ked Senior CD Na lo Jackson. "We bond over Super Ma r io Ka r t ." The 24 wonderful flavors of B-wi ng truly lived up to their name. "We have a really diverse wi ng. Tha t 's the coolest part about it," agrees Senior J a ime Deve r eaux. RC Rene Poke la ma de sure that her wi ng a lways had s ome t h i ng to do. F r om ma k i ng collages to p l ay i ng Taboo wi th a b r o t her wi ng, every we ek a different activity was p l anned. For Tue sday Ni ght Fun, they once ove r r an the hall in a wi ng s cavenger hunt and fed their r oom– ma t es ice c r e am—b l i nd – folded. "I like be i ng able to c ome in the wi ng, and no one has to a sk me what I ' m feeling, they j u st know. The re are some things j u st left unsa i d, but are unde r s t ood ," com– men t ed Sophomo re Anjali Vijayakumar. RC Amy Si evert a lways p r ocu r ed a van for her SDT, t ak i ng C- wi nge rs on va r i ous mov ie and shopp i ng trips, as well as occasional food runs. The memb e rs "Amo ng t he Wi l d f l owe r s" n a m e in 03 -D wi ng had their share of intriguing experi– ences, as a result of their fondness for the Water– me l on Game, an activity wi th special penalties. "I had to sizzle like bacon or the floor and Jenna pole danc ed wh i le singing the ABC ' s seductively," recalled Senior Sarah Mebane. Each memb er de s i gned her own wild- flowers for the walls, until the wi ng had transformed into a veritable paper garden, representative of their solid commun i ty ba s ed on trust. Perhaps RC Charity Wi ebe 's t eamwo r k - bu i l d i ng activites he l ped deve l op their comfortable atmo– sphere. Or pe r haps t hey ' re j u st naturally fun-loving and carefree. 1 1 l l c Residentiul c ^l(^
