Ad– vanced Problem Solving and Number Theory have been introduced for those more advanced math lovers, and the faculty has welcomed the addition of Dr. John Alexopoulus to the team. Dr. Alexopoulos, affectionately known to his students as "Dr. John", has already become famous across campus for his calculus study groups/pizza parties the night before an exam. Outside of the classroom, the math depart– ment has helped the IMSA math team prepare for meets this year. They did such a good job that we won first place in the state, as well as many other awards, all on display in the office. Now we know why they needed a bigger office!
