S e n i o r s S t e p T h e i r W a y T o V i c t o r y All three classes showed tremendous class spirit throughout Homecoming Week. The senior class, however, reigned over the school and ended up winning the most points for the class spirit award. Class games, cheerleaders, fall athletic teams, and class acts were presented at the pep assembly. The seniors presented the winning class act by performing a pseudo-step show. The step show was choreographed by Alaina Anderson and Sheri Robinson. The "steppers" worked all week long to perfect the routine to Luke's "I Wanna Rock." The step show consisted of a class spirit cheer, coordinated steps, a couple of flips, and a special freestyle segment, which featured Nikki Aranas' famous "Cabbage Patch" and Mike Ombrello's "grinding, hip-rolling, gyrating action." The step show was deemed successful and entertaining by many, including the judges, which helped lead the class of '93 to victory. Nikia T.
