B o y s S w i m m i n g The boy's swimming team combined a winning season with a lot of fun this year. In– creased sophomore interest led to a swelling of the team's numbers, and senior expertise helped propel the Titans to victory. It was hard to live up to last year's incredible seasson, but the team worked its hardest and showed a lot of promise. The increased numbers led to an increase in the diversity of abiltity levels, so the real challenge came in getting people to work together. The season record indicates that Coach John Martin and Assistant Coach John Fitzgerald provided sufficient motivation. The crowds turned out once again for an exciting swimming season, but they had to wait for sectionals to witness the main attraction: those lovely shaven legs. Of course, if things ever got boring they could watch sophomore Hanh Lam introduce the art of diving to IMSA meets. Though the team may wince a bit with the departure of successful seniors such as captains Andy Pitcher and Gene Choi, the aqueous Titans anticipate another great year of smiles and Speedos.
