T h e S o u n d o f M u s i c For those students who don't get enough of the musical thing during the school day, the IMSA music department has conveniently come up with. . .more. Truly dedicated musicians can participate in Pep Band, Strolling Strings, Sound F/X, or Jazz Band through– out the year. Pep band splits the regular band into blue and silver bands that play alternately at boys and girls basketball games. The band always has a lot of fun terrorizing, but it's generally more Ogden and less the opposing team who is the brunt of the teasing. The Strolling Strings were present at all the fancy receptions during the school year and always provided a cultured touch. Sound F/X was a group that allowed that fifties nostalgia to surface at several concerts this year. Jazz Band provided outdoor entertainment from time to time and added a summer musical breeze to the lovely IMSA campus.
